All new patients or problems will be assessed by Chris, who has a simple approach.
Although we have spent millennia, as the human race, evolving our bodies to enjoy a balanced upright posture,
we can, nevertheless, in the course of our lives (young or old), develop poor habits of walking, sitting, standing
and even sleeping which can disturb our posture and become the underlying cause of many of the problems
we are experiencing now.
Chris, therefore, will take a thorough case history, listening carefully to you so that the contribution
of any pre-disposing, aggravating and maintaining factors to your symptoms can be clarified.
You will be invited to undress as appropriate and to your comfort to allow Chris to examine your active movements, noting any poor function leading to inefficiency and potential long term damage to load bearing
parts of the body. Chris will then examine the condition of your muscles and joints in a passive state, noting
any abnormal joint stiffness or laxity, and the quality of the muscle tone. Chris will discuss his findings with
you and recommend an appropriate course of treatment. To see what treatments and techniques he uses
